Omonike Arike Olaleye is married to Pastor Kola Olaleye, the Resident Pastor of DIC Spring Church, where she also serves as a Pastor in the children’s church – Dominion Kids Zone. Pastor Kola and Omonike are blessed with two godly children. Together as a family, they love serving God, traveling and dancing! She is passionate about teaching, training and mentoring professionals on successfully accomplishing their God-given assignments.
By the grace of God, Omonike also serves as the Interim Associate Provost and Associate Vice President for Research and Professor of Pharmacology at Texas Southern University – one of the largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the United States. Omonike uses innovative biomedical and public health strategies to address health inequities and disparities that exists in underserved and vulnerable populations. Omonike’s formal training in pharmacology and epidemiology were at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Harvard University, respectively.
